Nara

What a day! We took a one hour train ride to Nara, got to the Todaiji Temple area, and there were hundreds of deer.  The kids loved feeding them.

Then, on into the temple, the largest wooden building in the world.  It houses a huge Buddha statue.  We all tried to fit through the hole one the post..if you do, it is said you will achieve enlightenment in your lifetime.
